DEVELOPMENT

Development comprises frontend (pages, screens and sections through which the user navigates) and backend (the system underlying content management, i.e. software).

Frontend Development

Website and mobile application development starts with graphic user interface development, translating the screens created in the UI Design phase into html, css and javascript.

All interfaces are developed by the EP frontend developers according to the logical responses, making the design system components interactive and animated. Once the static page templates are created, the logics are developed for integration with the dynamic data, which originates from the database fed by a specific Content Management System (CMS).

Backend development

When the project requires it, EP realises the backend, that is, the development of software logic needed for the application to function, such as RESTful API development, database design and CMS development, both custom and on opensource frameworks (WordPress, Laravel, etc).
